Training team Juumoku (Shin Uchiha, Kirin Ranmaru, and Itami only)

Shin had walked out of the exam building with his two other team mates. It was a sunny day, as well. The soil on the ground was quite rocky as usual - something Shin wasnt used to, but he thought it would be a great experiance to train in a new climate. He looked at Kirin, then at Itami, and then forward again. He stopped at a clear section ontop of a plateau, which happened to look like a good place to begin training since there wasnt anywhere else closer to them to train on; mostly everything was just mountains.

He turned around and kicked the hard, rocky soil with his right foot, looking down at it. The wind didnt blow it away, which was a good sign of no unexpected gusts to knock off their attack balances. He cracked his knuckles and then said, "This seems like a suitable place to begin our training, ne?"His onyx eyes stared into theirs, waiting for a reply.

"Yes I think this willwork quite nicely... so how is this gonna work? All against all? Or two against one?"

Kirin clasped her hands infront of hrself and swung her arms side to side while talking. She knew that his Sharingan would be a good match for her Ranmaru, concidering tht they could both read th emovements of other people, even if the Sharingan was better at it. They needed to get a better understanding of eachothers justu and abilities. Kirnin herself was more of a support member. She relied on he jutsu of her teammates and used mdical juts. but sh was quite skilled at taijutsu and wished to e as strong as the famous Lady Tsunade.

"Anywhere is fine..." he said in a low voice that was almost unheard. He kicked a rock that was next to him and watched it roll. "It does not matter to me if we go two on one or all against all... but do you guys think that we will win? Some of the other guys look prtty strong..."

Itami was knew that they would get past this next section, but had his doubts. He had not had much time to practice his own jutsu. He knew that his enemies would be in for a suprise when they find out that he can use all five elements, plus his own clan's jutsu. It did not matter to him either way. A ninja's strength is not measured by their rank...

Shin had one hand behind his back, but no one knew why. He was focusing katon chakra into his hand, as his hand cought on fire and then formed the fire into a dagger with the use of chakra. He then lifted his head up and his Sharingan activated. He chuckled and smirked, as he then leaped foward as if it were a quick sprint in the air. His hand was held out with the fire dagger, as he stopped instantly, right infront of Kirin. The fire dagger was to her throat, as he then said, "Why dont we spar... Me versus Kirin... Winner goes against Itami."He said in a deadly tone, as he had the intent to not kill Kirin, but defeat her.

He moved the fire dagger to rub against her neck for a few moments, as he then leaped backwards, getting ready to go against her as he stood in a defencive position; his dagger held out infront of him and his body bent down slightly.

"I think that is a great idea...." She turned to Itami and placed a hand on his back. She nudged him towards a small rock. "You should prpbably sit over there untill we are done."

An angelic smile grew on her face as she then turned to Shin and closed her eyes. "Now then, let us begin..." As she opened her eyes, the soft glow of her red Ranmaru Eyes slightly shined. This was going to be an interesting match for her. However, she lacked in Ninjutsu and would have to use her strengths against him. Kirin raced towards him shifting from side to side, only to make a slight jump and slide across the remaining foot, only to bring a leg along the ground to slide-kick him. As she did this, she twisted her body so that her other leg would strike his chest. She was now on one hand, with her arm bent, ready to propel herself forward, left or right for when he tried to dodge.

With both the Ranmaru Eyes and the Sharingan having the ability to read movements, this was going to be a good fight.

Shin was in his perfect defence position. He saw Kirin's moves and her intents, getting ready for it. From her moves, he predicted that she would obviously kick him. He then leaped to the right, avoiding her sweep kick to his feet and ankles. He then made a few hand signs, cancelling the fire daggers as he put his hand up to his mouth, "Fire Ball jutsu!"He called out as a large fireball gusted at her, as if he were breathing the fire as it continued to come at her. He landed on his feet on the side of her, then kept it going for a few more seconds. He cancelled it after 30 seconds or so, watching the embers fly away in the wind to see if he had struck her with it.

OOC: Some of that needs to be changed. The first foot was a sweep-kick (low to the ground and aiming for your ankles), so ducking low like you said would just be letting me kick you.

Kirin also knew his movments and had been prepared for them. the single arm that she was supporting herself with, she sprung herself to her right, dodging the fireball as it races past her. As she sprung herself, she was doing a sideways flip and reached into her pocket. She throw several stars at him just as she landed.

Shin breathed in softly as he regained his power again. The fireball seemed to take quite a bit out of him as he used it. He turned his body to the throwing stars, seeing as about 4 of them came at him. He smirked and took out a kunai, knocking each one of them out of their balances, making them land on the ground. One of them unexpedly came at him and cut his arm. He winced, but it wasnt going to stop him.

He smirked and leaped back to a good distance away from her. He took out a shuriken, then threw it at her. A single one? Not this time. As the shuriken was coming at her, he crossed his fingers, "Shuriken Kage Bushin no Jutsu!"He commanded and the shuriken turned into 10 of them, solid and real.

As it came closer, it split into 10 which startled Kirin for a split second. See could clearly see the shirikien and swiftly moved her hands as the came withinabbed each one bewteen her fingers, four in each hand. She then leant backwards and twisted her body so that she caught one by her mouth as it glided right past her face. However, as she leant back she realized that she had missed one as it scraped against her left arm. A single drop of blood trickled down her arm as she got ready for her next attack. Kirin raced towards him.... as she did, she threw the nine shuriken that she had. She brought her arm back to deal a severe blow to the face or when they would have contact. her eyes glowed a bit brighter as she watched him carefully.

OOC: they are Shuriken, not kunai.. So it would have cut your mouth if you cought it there lol

OOC: Actualy, you can catch one in your mouth. pick up and knife and bite down on the tip of the blade with your teeth. Can do the same thing with Shiriken. But edited it.

Shin watched closely at her moves. She cought all nine, but one struck her. Better than not striking her at all, he thought. He then took out a simple kunai, as he knocked the shuriken out of the air with a flick of his wrist a few times. Shin's eye didnt catch Kirin's couragious move; to punch him straight in the face. He had to do something, and quick. He then came up with a plan. Shin grabbed her fist that was about to knock him in the face, as he put his hand up to his mouth and sprayed an oil like liquid onto her body, possibly temporarily blinding her if he hit her in the eyes with it. He then jumped back, making a clone. He grabbed the clone by the hands and threw it at her, as it took out his lighter and opened it, igniting it, and whipping past Kirin as he tried to get the flame to touch her body. If he did, the flame would set her body on fire from the oil he sprayed on her.

When Shin grabbed Kirin's fist, he may not have noticed the small amount of chakra that was absorbed from him. It was small, but needed. While flying back from his throw, Kirin positioned her body so that her back was facing them. As the clone made contact with Kirin, she had finished her handsigns and completed her jutsu. In one giant poof and explosion, Kirin had used her replacement technique. She had done at the same moment that the flames were lit. The burning log fell to the ground where Kirin once was....

From behind a tree, Kirin each into her bag and pulled out a roll of tape. After tearing off a piece, she placed it in the small of her back, where a slight burn mark scolded. The burnmark slowly shrunk untill it was completely healed. "That was close..."

I am not much of a fighter now and should probably wait untill I have some more jutsu under my belt. It can be very dangerous just using Taijutsu against someone with an arsenal of Ninjutsu.

Emerging from the tree, Kirin stood with her hand on her hips and her hand waving in the air. "I give up."

Shin's clone poofed away as it landed on the ground from his own throw. He was shocked that Kirin had made a replacement jutsu. His own combonation jutsu with his clone seemed to have been worthless, but atleast he was getting better at it as he practiced. He then put away his lighter, looking over it for a moment. He watched her come out of hiding, hearing her give up. He smiled softly and walked up to her. He bowed to her and put out his hand, "You put up a good fight, Kirin-chan."He praised her and grinned at her. He wondered what it would be like to fight against Itami. He looked at him with his eyes curiously. He knew that Itami was naturally a very good person at heart, and would not want to fight... But Shin wanted to see what he had.

Kirin walked over to Itami and smiled. "It's yourturn Itami." After he go tup, Kirin took his seat on the rock and watched.

Itami slowly rose form his seat and walked over to the field. he dragged his feet while he walked. Once he reached the point where he was not to close and not to far, he stopped and looked up at Shin. "I am ready." he said in an impassive manner. He did not get into a stance or pull out any weapons. he simply just stood there, waiting for Shin to make the first move.

Shin watched Itami's moves as he seemed to be careless if he fought Shin. He smirked though, hoping that he would be easy to defeat such as Kirin was. He then examined his surroundings. Rocks to the right and left, he was about a few meters away from him. He got into a stance and took out a kunai. He then threw the kunai at Itami and waited for his reaction. He kept up his guard though, not wanting a sneak attack coming at him.

As the kunai raced towards him, Itami reached into his pocket as if to pull ot a shiriken or kunai. But instead, he pulled out a rock. While Itami had been watching Kirin ad Shin fight, he was not watching the whole time. he hadbeen kicking some rocks around an decided to keep a few. Itami threw the rock directly at the kunai. The rock struck the kunai just enogh to make it deflect it's direction. Itami did not even blink as it sped past his face. Not that anyone would be ableto tell; his bangs covered his eyes. Itami and Shin were obviously the best out of the team and would promise a good match.

Itami knew that the Sharingan could watch the movements of other people, his only chance was to make a move that he could not escape from, or a move that he would not be able to see at all. Even so, fighting Itami prove to be difficult to watch his movements. This is because much of what Itami does is not planned out. Most of hisfights were just instincts or last minute additions toa move. At any rate, he needed to tred carfully.

Shin knew his sharingan isnt developed enough to read Gen, Tai, and Nin, and then use it later. His wheel only had two tomoe. He had to unlock the third comma some way, but he knew that if he fought someone bigger, badder, and tougher than him, he might be able to unlock it. Shin sighed softly and then started to make a series of many, many handsigns. He put his fingers up to his mouth and breathed in deeply, "Fire Dragon Flame Projectile!"He shouted and released his breath, blowing a large jet of flames at Itami. He kept it going for a good 5-10 seconds. He then cancelled the flames after the 15th second hit, as the wind blew away the embers.

As the flames died down, not all of the fire seemed to dissapear. Between Shin and Itami was a large fireball. because of Shin's own flames, it was unnoticed as it shielded Itami from the fire projection. The fireball was connected to Itami's mouth... but as he retracted his hand from the side of his face, he cut off the jet of fire and sent the ball sprawling towards Shin.

As Itami watched to see if the ball would hit, he began to make more handsigns, getting ready for his next shot.

Shin suddenly saw a fireball headed toward him, surprisingly from the quiet and calm Itami. He gasped slightly, finding it was surprising to him. He was already alittle worn out from using all the ninjutsu he had used. He groaned and began to decide on what he was going to do as he stood infront of incoming fireball. Shin quickly came up with a plan and sprung backwards with his feet, using as much force as he had. He landed quite a bit of distance from the fireball and took a turn to the right, dodging it completely and out of his way.

He then took out a kunai as he kept running, placing an explosive pouch on the ring of it in a quick motion, that it was possibly to be unseen. He then threw the kunai towards Itami's feet. He stopped running and stood in a could of dust from his stop, and put up a handsign, about to ignite it.

Just as he completed his handseals, the kunai landed at his feet. he instantly noticed the bomb on the end. It seemed that he was going to need to use more chakr athan he wanted to escape and still continue with his plan. "Kagebushin no Jutsu"

Five shadow clones appeared as he finished. Just as the the bomb went off, two of the shadow clones used all their migth and shoved the remaining people backwards and away from the blast. The explosion was loud and mixed in with the smoke of the clones being destroyed. Itami stood up several feet from where he originaly stood. Two clones stood next to him but seperated. each clone then began making handseals. Itami pulled a kunai from his pocket and placed it in his mouth by the handle. As he ran towards Shin, he also started a chain of handseals. As he got within striking distance, he spun around for a spin kick.

Shin could feel the adrenaline running through his veins. All he could hear was his heartbeat. All he could see was Itami, and his clones. His sick and twisted mind had snapped just then. He was in his killer mode now. As his team mates didnt know, Shin is a very kind hearted person, but his intents and fights are deadly to the least. Once he snaps, theres no stopping him.

His eyes narrowed as he glared at Itami, watching the smoke clear away to reveal the rest of him. He smirked, an evil one at that. Everything to Shin had seemed that time was slowed down itself, he was so intuned with everything at that moment. He watched Itami spin around, his foot right out at him, as if he was about to land a strike with his foot. He reacted quickly and took out, yet, another kunai. He jabbed his kunai outwards at Itami's incoming kick, hoping it would have stuck somewhere in his foot or leg, stopping it. As he held the Kunai out, hie crossed his two fingers over his other two fingers holding the kunai, "Bushin no jutsu!"He called out as a clone poofed from behind him.

The clone then ran to the left, as Shin released his grip on the kunai and ran to the right. Shin was secretly holding a very invisible, but strong wire in his hand, as his clone had the other end. They both smirked and held onto the wire tightly, as they began to run the same way; downwards, behind Itami.
